This weekend an enthusiastic team gave up part or all of their Saturday to get stuck in and help maintain the bandroom. With an age range from 3 to 74, it was an impressive effort!
Outside, the overhanging shrubbery was removed around the back, the guttering was cleared, and the cladding was thoroughly cleaned around the front.
Inside, the percussion was thoroughly sort through and rearranged, the kitchen was thoroughly deep cleaned (which was definitely overdue!), and the main band area was cleaned and tidied with some handy extra space being created.
There are still some bits to do, but it was a very productive day and we were fortunate to have good weather on our side - well done team!
